Vintage 6" Lenox Acanthus Leaf Nautilus Shell Serving/Candy/Nut Dishes 1950's. Condition is very gently "Used". 
Despite their age, each of these lovely dishes have no chips, cracks, crazing or staining.  Their original color and lovely glazing are intact. The Lenox China stamp on the bottom of each piece is in green, and reads "made in USA".  This back-stamp was used by Lenox on its pieces beginning in 1930 and continued through 1953 when it was changed to gold.
This listing is for a beautiful china dish, made by the Lenox Company. This dish is simple stunning in Lenox traditional ivory-white.  Designed in the Acanthus Leaf pattern, featuring gently curved sides and pointed scalloped edges. This bowl is not only useful for serving (gravy, saucier, condiments, relishes, olives, etc.), but also make a lovely holder for soaps, candies or other items.
This dish is 6-inches long, with a width of 3-3/4 inch, and rests 2-1/4 inch tall at its tip, 1-1/2 inch at its lowest point on the side. It holds a little over 6 ounces (3/4 cup) of liquid, or would hold approximately 8 ounces (1 cup) of olives, nuts or candy.
